Carousels, slides, lanyards and post-its – a combination that usually don't go together, but somehow were the highlights of this year's National European Youth Parliament Session. From 12th to 15th of March, the International High School’s delegation was sent to compete, innovate and collaborate. 

The first thing one does in committee work is to think of all the possible problems that exist with either unidentified drone attacks, high unemployment rates among youth, or cyberdefense – all dependent on your committee expertise. This is where the post-its come into play, every issue that can come to mind gets its very own post-it note, to then be placed in either “the bank”, “the hospital”, or “the graveyard”, depending upon the note’s defined quality. In the end, notes were on whiteboards, blazers, tables and on foreheads. But after a long day of writing and brainstorming “because clauses”, 7 to 15 key problems had been identified, and at Världkultursmuseet was the very famous Euroconcert waiting. Håkan Hellström, Portuguese songs, Macarena, and Irish funeral dances were all key acts in this long evening of laughter and joy that can nearly only be described in pictures!
